The use of audio in eLearning is still an enigma for many instructional designers. Some eLearning lessons include full narration that fails to contribute to the activity’s learning value, while others miss opportunities to enhance realism or gain attention through a selective use of audio. This article suggests situations in which audio can improve the effectiveness of an eLearning lesson.
